Day Four
The triathlon was postponed this morning but there was still plenty of action today in Paris.
Medals were awarded in Judo (Men -81 kg, Women -63 kg), Shooting (10m Air Pistol Mixed Team, Trap Men’s), Aquatics (Men’s 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay, Men’s 800m Freestyle, Women’s 100m Backstroke), Fencing’s Women’s Epee Team and Mixed Doubles Table Tennis. Maybe the most epic finish was the conclusion to the bronze medal match for Rugby Sevens where Alex Sedrick ran almost the length of the field as time wound down to give the US their first Rugby Sevens medal.
The marquee event for many viewers, however, was the Women’s Team event in Gymnastics where Simone Biles and Team USA won the gold. Simone Biles is the single most selected athlete on the site this year. Here’s the top 10:
